What is Zazen...

Zen is a phonetic transcription of the Pali word jh?na, meaning meditation. The goal is to concentrate one's mind, cease to think, and become detached from thoughts and feelings while crossing the legs.

In particular, the Zen sect considers zazen to be the primary method of training, and all of Buddhism is included in zazen.
