Please read the following precautions and disclaimers before purchasing tickets.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the following.
【Ticket precautions】
- When purchasing tickets, please be sure to read and agree to all precautions listed on the official website. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to all of them.
- No cancellations/refunds are accepted after ticket purchase. Please understand the schedule, all the precautions and guidelines before purchasing tickets.
- If payment is not received by the payment deadline, the order will be canceled. If the discounted ticket is sold out when you purchase again, you will be charged the price of the ticket at the time it is on sale.
- Each ticket is valid for one person only.
- Tickets are valid only for the person whose name is entered at the time of purchase.
- Please present identification documents (insurance card, driver's license, social security card, student ID card, or other identification) at the reception desk on the day of the event.
- If the name on the ticket purchase does not match the identification of the participant at the registration desk on the day of the event, admission will be denied and no refunds will be given. A new registration fee will be charged if you wish to attend the event.
- Children from elementary school age and up are welcome to participate. Children up to elementary school age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (a ticket for the parent or guardian must also be purchased). Junior high school students and older may participate alone, but only if they are able to take care of themselves. Minors who wish to participate alone must obtain the consent of a parent or guardian. The purchase of a ticket is deemed to constitute consent.
- If you need assistance, please attend with a caregiver. Staff cannot provide assistance. Please purchase a ticket for the caregiver.
- Tickets must be purchased through the official website here. Tickets purchased through unauthorized channels are invalid, and the Secretariat will not be held responsible for refunds of tickets in the event of any problems with the purchaser.
- Sales will end when all tickets are sold out.
- Transportation to and from the venue, lunch on the first day and dinner on the last day, and insurance are not included in the ticket price.
- Resale or transfer of tickets is strictly prohibited.
【Festival precautions】
- The organizer reserves the right to change any precautions or rules when deemed necessary for the operation of the event, regardless of the timing or method of notification. Tickets will not be refunded for any changes.
- The festival will be held rain or shine (except when natural disasters.)
- Tickets will not be refunded in case of cancellation or change of time schedule or instructors.
- Accommodations will be in shared rooms and meals will be provided on a bare-bones basis.
- As we are unable to provide hotel-like services, we ask for your cooperation during the festival.
- Bathrooms and toilets are shared. Please be considerate of others when using.
- Refrigerators and microwaves are not available. Cooking is also not allowed.
- The organizer will take photographs and videos during the festival. The organizer reserves the right to publish the photographs and videos taken and to use them for recording and other commercial purposes.
- The organizer may use the recordings of the Festival in any marketing activities, including but not limited to, posting, exposure, and cooperation in media such as television, magazines, websites, and social networking services, without any permission from the participants.
- If an unauthorized entry is discovered, the visitor will be asked to leave the venue or pay an additional fee.
- For security purposes, please inform the staff when you leave the building.
- Those who do not follow the instructor's or staff's instructions, or who conduct themselves in a manner that disturbs other participants or interferes with the schedule will be forced to leave the venue. No refunds will be made in such cases. In addition, if the management deems the behavior to be malicious, even if you have a ticket, you will be denied admission to the Festival from the next year onward. In such cases, no refunds will be made.
- Violence and vandalism are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate ejection from the venue. No refunds will be made in such cases.
- Please refrain from any activities that may disturb other participants or residents in the neighborhood.
- You are free to entering and exiting the venue, but please return by midnight for us to lock the main gate. In accordance with the Kyoto Prefectural Youth Development Ordinance, those under 18 years of age must return to their accommodations by 23:00.
- Participants must be in good health to participate in the event. We will not be held responsible for any health problems that may occur.
- Pets are not allowed in the area or at the Festival.
- Firearms, explosives and other items prohibited by law are strictly prohibited in the venue.
- We do not keep your baggage or valuables. Please take care of your baggage and valuables by yourself. The secretariat will not be responsible for any loss, theft or damage.
- Please cooperate in reducing and separating trash at the venue.
- For the sake of festival sanitation and smooth schedule progression, we may ask you to clean up and tidy up each venue. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
- Cleanup at mealtime is on your own.
- Please clean and tidy up each room at check-out.
- Emergency first aid will be provided, but please take care to prevent injury and take good care of yourself.
- Smoking is prohibited inside the venue. Also for the outside of the venue, please follow the smoking rule in the area.
- Please refrain from drinking alcohol or bringing alcoholic beverages into the venue. If you wish to drink alcohol, please use a nearby restaurant. We will not be held responsible for any problems caused by drinking.
- Taking photos and short videos with smartphones and other devices is allowed at the venue. Please post your photos and videos on social networking sites with the tag #Hallucigenia Handstand Festival. However, it is prohibited to post the entire contents of the workshops on social networking sites, Youtube, blogs, or other Internet sites. It is also prohibited to use the images and videos taken at the festival for personal commercial purposes.
- Solicitation of network business, other events, product sales, religious activities, etc. is strictly prohibited. Those who intend to do so will not be allowed to attend the event.
- Festival participation by persons related to antisocial forces is strictly prohibited.
- All the contents in this festival belong to the organizer (the instructors for their workshops). Participants must not infringe on it.
- Participants shall indemnify the Secretariat, staff, lecturers, and facilities for any and all damages caused by or in connection with the Festival.
- If you cause damage to the facility, the secretariat, or other participants' property, please notify the staff promptly.
- If you are concerned about accidents or injuries during the festival, please purchase your own travel and accident insurance before participating.
- In the unlikely event that any participant suffers an accident or injury, the program may be cancelled in whole or in part at that time. In addition, we may ask for your cooperation in preventing secondary accidents and providing relief and medical care for injured or sick participants.
- The staff reserves the right to refuse participation in the workshop to those who are not in good physical condition. No refunds will be made in such cases.
- For safety reasons, if a participant's skill level is not appropriate, the instructor or staff may, at their discretion, direct the participant to another workshop.
- In case of emergency, please follow the instructions of the staff to evacuate.
- Those who have registered for the event may receive future event invitations on an irregular basis, regardless of their attendance, unless they individually request otherwise.
【COVID19 measures】
- Wearing masks is at your own discretion. Please refrain from interfering with personal freedom, such as forcing/blaming other participants for not wearing masks or disinfectants.
- Please inform the staff if you have any concerns about your health condition.
- There is a possibility that personal information will be collected when you visit the venue. Personal information of ticket purchasers will be provided in the event of a coronavirus outbreak, or in the event of a request for disclosure by public authorities.
- Please bring your own disinfectant if you need it.
【Disclaimer】
- The organizer, venue, staffs, and instructors will not be responsible for any accidents, theft, or problems that occur inside or outside the venue during the festival.
- The Participant shall not make any claim against the organizer or its related parties for any injury or accident at the Festival or its venues, or for any other damage not attributable to the organizer or its related parties. In the event of illness, accident, or injury, the organizer and its related parties shall be permitted and authorized to provide first-aid treatment, and shall be justified in providing such treatment and transportation as recommended by doctors, medical assistants, and other staff members. In the event of any pre-existing medical condition that could lead to an accident or injury, the Participant shall declare such condition to the organizer and its officials in advance, and shall participate in the Festival with the utmost care and at his/her own risk, and may not be allowed to participate in the Event depending on the details of his/her declaration.
- 荒天等の予期せぬ災害・地震その他天変地異や社会情勢等、主催者およびその関係者の責に帰さない理由による本フェスティバルの開催中止や開催中の事故に関して、主催者およびその関係者は一切責任を追いません。
- 天候事情、天災、事故などによる交通遅延・運行停止において、本フェスティバルは一切の責任を負いません。それによる返金もございません。
- If a participant does not receive any part of the Festival services or leaves the group for any reason, it will be deemed a waiver of the participant's rights, and the organizer will not refund any money. The orgnizer and its related parties will not be held responsible for any problems that may occur during the withdrawal.
