Akimichi Ikuta

Japanese ancient martial arts researcher

Born in 1982. Studied under Takao Suzuki of “Ittouryu Heioho”.
He is an explorer of "Dao", a practical oriental philosophy, studying mountain asceticism, Kaikoku asceticism, and various martial arts. He is a practitioner of kobujutsu (Japanese ancient martial arts) such as swordsmanship, jujutsu, and Japanese horsemanship, as well as of the bodywork and meditation techniques developed based on these arts.


In the Handstand Festival, he teaches the method of de-strengthening and how to control the body axis in handstand positions. Recommended for both beginners and advanced students. He teaches classes with much care and patience.
